Tojo’s is one of Vancouver’s old-school sushi spots. It has an elegant yet friendly atmosphere that makes it a great spot to celebrate any special occasion, whether you’re celebrating work or having family over for dinner!

A true culinary innovator, Chef Tojo is credited with creating the now ubiquitous California roll, BC roll, and the first to use smoked salmon. Thanks to his pioneering efforts, sushi’s popularity in North America is where it is now. To this day Chef Tojo continues using creativity and local ingredients for new dishes.

With only seven tables (and sometimes long lines) this little spot fills up quickly- but rest assured your fresh high-quality food will be worth waiting 20 minutes or more…

We recommend going for the saba nigiri, unagi battera, futomaki and ume sisho roll. Also they have special assorted sushi sets and lunch specials that are affordable, delicious, and great portions.
